Haldi Kalash (haldikalash.com) is a free matchmaking website for people in India. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Account information: your email address and password (passwords are stored securely and we cannot see them).

Profile information you choose to share: name, age, gender, height, marital status, city, religion, community, mother tongue, education, profession, diet, a short description, and photos.

Activity: the profiles you like and your matches.

Technical information: basic data such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site working and secure.

How we use your information

To create and show your profile to other registered members so that you can find a match.

To show you other profiles, record likes, and let you know about matches.

To keep the website safe, prevent misuse and fake profiles, and improve our service.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Who can see your information

Your profile details are visible to other registered members of Haldi Kalash. Your email address and password are never shown to other members.

Photos you upload are stored online and can be viewed by anyone who has the photo link. Please only upload photos you are comfortable sharing.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored with Supabase, on servers located in Mumbai, India. Our website is hosted by Vercel. These providers process data on our behalf to run the service.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies and similar technology to keep you logged in.

We may show advertisements in future, including from Google. Third-party vendors such as Google may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised ads at Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com).

Your rights and choices

You can view and edit your profile at any time from the My Profile page.

In line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent, by emailing nathsollution@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Age requirement

Haldi Kalash is only for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created a profile, please contact us and we will remove it.

Security

We use industry-standard security provided by our hosting partners to protect your data. No online service can be 100% secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.
